About Me
As my love for cooking grew, so did my curiosity about how food impacts how we feel. I have always been drawn to wellness, but like many, I lost that connection in college. I was eating processed foods, living fast, and started to feel out of sync with my body.
After months of gut issues, bloating, and feeling intolerant to so many foods, I realized something needed to change. Even while trying to eat healthy and stay active, I still felt inflamed. During my senior year, I was diagnosed with candida, which pushed me to take a deeper look at my health and begin my healing journey.
After college, I moved to Los Angeles and spent a few years immersed in the wellness space. I explored functional medicine, whole foods, and nervous system support, and began to understand how foundational daily habits and real food truly are. It was also where I experienced how accessible this kind of food could be. So many places made it easy to grab something quick that was still made with high quality, intentional ingredients.
Through it all, cooking stayed at the center. It became the way I supported my body, simplified wellness, and created meals that actually made me feel good.
When I moved back to Fort Worth, I realized there was a gap. It was much harder to find food that was both convenient and aligned with how I wanted to eat. I wanted something that felt easy, but still made with the same level of care and ingredients I had experienced in Los Angeles.
I eventually became certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, but more importantly, I developed a realistic and balanced approach to health. One that is not restrictive or overwhelming, but rooted in consistency and quality ingredients.
LivWell Organic was created from that place.
It is a way to make nourishing, thoughtfully prepared food more accessible. Meals that support your body without requiring you to overthink every ingredient or spend hours in the kitchen.
Because after everything I have learned, the biggest difference always comes back to what we eat every day.
